Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Toolbelt.network (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Toolbelt ("we," "our," or "us").

2. Description of Service

Toolbelt.network is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed for trades and service businesses. It provides tools for job management, scheduling, invoicing, customer management, crew coordination, and AI-assisted operations ("Belt AI"). The Service is provided on a subscription basis.

3. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access at [email protected]

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

The Service is offered on a paid subscription basis following a 14-day free trial. Subscriptions are billed through GoDaddy Commerce. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
  • Founder pricing is locked for the life of the account for qualifying early subscribers

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
  • Use Belt AI to generate content that is fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service ("Your Data"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Data solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of Your Data and will not use it for purposes beyond operating and improving the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Belt AI — AI Features

Belt AI features are powered by third-party AI providers. AI-generated content (quotes, messages, job descriptions) is provided as a starting point and may contain errors. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-generated content before using it with customers or in business operations. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy or fitness of AI outputs.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Toolbelt and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent. Your feedback and suggestions may be used by us to improve the Service without obligation to you.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOOLBELT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your data will be retained for 90 days before deletion.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
